How our parties work

We strive to make your birthday gathering a huge success for you and your guests.  Being on the same page about the process is important.  We're here if you have any special requests or questions.
  • Birthday parties may be booked during the available skating sessions.  To reserve a time outside these public sessions, check out our Private Birthday Party Package.  Times fill up fast; we recommend booking two weeks in advance, however, check with us if it's last minute.  We may be able to schedule you in.
  • No outside food or drinks may be brought into the building, with the exception of a birthday cake or cupcakes.  "Thank you" gift bags or goodie bags may be given out as your guests leave.  No other outside food or beverages are permitted.
  • Make a list of everyone you've invited, bring it to the rink.  Arrive prior to the beginning of the skating session (we open 15 minutes before the posted time).  We will mark off names as guests arrive and provide them with a skate ticket.  We only bill you for those guests that arrive.
  • We never charge for parent spectators; however, if a parent of a child in your party would like to skate, they should either be added to your list or pay an admission and skate rental at the ticket window. Two parents for each birthday child are free of charge.  
  • Food and beverages mentioned in the package are for skaters only, based on your list.  If you'd like to supply extra food for adults, we can do that.  Just let us know! For example; one slice of pizza or hot dog per skater is included with the package.
  • We will reserve you a space for your party to meet.  This area is yours for the entire session (can't find that anywhere else!).  We'll communicate with you on how and when we have your guests get together to eat and celebrate.
  • The deposit you pay will be deducted from your final bill, which will be presented to you toward the end of the skating session.  Credit card or cash is accepted.
  • Drinks are served with food, generally about 45 minutes after the skating session begins. One pitcher for every 8 guests. Serving time varies based on guest arrival and food preparation.  
  • While we generally get a cool breeze from the adjacent lake, we do not have air conditioning.  Please keep this in mind when booking parties during hot months.
