Test Centers
About Test Centers:

Testing is a way for you to compete against the most important person.  YOURSELF.  You are judged based off of specific criteria and either pass or fail.  You can work your way though the achievement tests up to the Gold Bar level.  We keep track of tests taken at Lorain Skate World and proudly display those results on our bulletin board.

General Guidelines for test centers:

  • Speak with your coach about taking a test.  Tentative list of tests are due to the rink one month prior to the date of the test center.
  • A final list of all tests taken must be submitted two weeks prior - no additional tests added within two weeks prior to test center.
  • All fees are required to be paid, at minimum, one week prior to the tests.  There are no refunds provided one week prior to the test.
  • Passing tests will earn you a collectible pin, which arrives 4-6 weeks after the test.
Coordinating test centers is an added chore done by volunteers.  Adhering to the guidelines above will ensure a successful test for all!
